Most of the things that have been said are right. The idea of selling of reforms properly, is rather confusing. If reforms are pro-people; people ought to benefit from that. Selling properly, means marketing, which has unfortunately improper inhibitions. Our educated human population is an asset to us. However, stabilization of population is a must. The comments about former RSS chief K.S.Sudarshan on population are misplaced. Though, you may not like it; I would say the homework has not been done properly

Yes. Human Resources Centric & Entrepreneurship Oriented Development is future of our politics.
We believed that embracing the capitalism will take us there.

But the current US economic crisis and the global political environment has put a serious question mark on this assumption and claims. Just as Socialism failed ,capitalism can also fail. We should be open to ideas without any bias.

Theoretically, we need not marry the words 'enterprise' and 'capitalism'. India's never seen before entrepreneurial success of 90s makes us do that.

As recession deepens beyond imagined estimates , the framework of capitalism will be challenged more and more--more complex political empowerment framework has to evolve. India is in unique position to provide that framework to her society.

Barack Obama is not just expected to bail out and regulate the US markets, America needs him to change the way they live. There is already some speculation that he could prove to be Gorbachev of Capitalism if he fails to achieve that change.

India should work on its fundamentally new model of development- perhaps we can end up creating new ism and value system for 21st century.
