Globalization
Globalization
Earlier, globalization used to be seen as fraught with risks for India both economically and politically – an attitude that made us beat a retreat from trade post-independence. However, this attitude has changed with reforms, in time for us to leverage our advantages – globalization today is working significantly in India’s favor. Global liquidity and the investor need for ‘growth’ is driving capital to India as both FDI and FII money; and global demographic trends will make India the last bastion of the young in the world by the middle of this century. This combined with the ‘flat world’ is creating opportunities for India’s large pool of workers to participate in the global arena for outsourcing services. India’s vibrant domestic market is not just creating new opportunities for our workers but is also the key emerging consumer market for countries around the world.

Globalization is great gift for India and will help in filling the cultural gaps that exists in mindset of Indians. For example it is due to Globalization that we have Indian Crowds cheering on Australian and English Players when they perform on Indian soil. When globalization is taken to a higher level, Indians can forget that they are a part of India and remember that we are all a part of the Human Resources that are spread in many countries across the world. Globalisation will reduce the hatred that members of one country or language share with other members of other counties. It will create truly global villages and cities for future generations to come.
