Rising incomes and prosperity will create increasing demand for energy. India does not have the luxury of fueling its growth from hydrocarbons, due to the impact this would have on the climate as well as the issues of cost and security. As India looks to expand its energy generation by 60,000 MW in 5 years, which is about 60% of the cumulative energy that has been created in the last 60 years, it is important to craft a green energy strategy based on clean coal, conservation, fuel efficiency standards, power sector reforms, alternative energy like wind, hydro, solar (both photovoltaic and thermal), hydrogen, bio-fuels, and nuclear power.

I seriously dont know what do u mean by “The World is a Level Playing Field” as far as I know its as rugged as Andes.
Anyway I just want to say that I seriously question ur porjection about energy demand, casue what we are seeing is not energy demand but energy wastage. Why the hell we need big big hording having 1000 watt filamets whole night when 42% of india isnt electrified.What we need isnt more projects of pollution but redistribution to all the people. You know very well abt how the world financial system is governed, just a handful of monopolistic banks creates and destryo wealth at their will, and you say the playing field is even, come on sir stop imaginig and face the stark reality of hunger.
When 2 billion poeple have no acceess to water or food these governmnets spend 3 trillion dollars just to rescue 20 financial institutions but cant spend 300 billion on clean energy reserch which will solve our energy needs for next 1000 years. You are an engineer from most esteemed univeristy of india I hope and wish you know that energy is very much abandant and readily availbale only that we need the will to use it for humanity rather than for coorporation bottomlines like ambani brothers treating national gas reserves as theri own wealth.
Now that you r heading the so called one 12 dight number for everyone, i dont know what is it for but am sure that govt.( i mean corporates ) just wnat to track donw anyone who opposes them wihtin seconds. Dont say me that this is not main motive of the project. What no u said or is it for the $ 2 billion to 10 billion contracts that the whole is worth. so that for next two years this projects gives fodder for indina IT industry survival.
Sir please i beg you dont make it easy for dictatorial regime in inda. Please make sure that no one will be able to access personal information of an individual at few stokes of keyboard. Its out and out violation of most fundamental human right. Right to Freedom. Please sir please dont makes our next generations as slaves in MATRIX. Ask your consious am sure with ur heart to do good for society and people you will do good. All i request and plead you is that dont make ID card project for tracking down, but make it work for the poor people who r displaced due to a natural disaster. You will have all the detalis of the people living in the dead zone, make this project in such a way that help will reach that person who lost his small hut in cyclone or eathquake directly into his bank account.
